This was a great and inexpensive way to revamp an old dresser. Using some old maps, I covered the drawers of the dresser and made it look new again!
The process was easy!
I started by sanding, premiering, and painting the shell of the dresser. Then with the five drawer I sanded them a little, layered the map over it to get an outline of what I was working with. I folded the U.S. Map in 3's (because that's what would fit with the first map). I had to use another map, I folded it 2's. Now I was ready to cut everything out, and begin Mod Podging it. A layer on the bottom, and a layer on the top. I let it dry for 24 hours and sprayed lacquered on it for a nice waterproof finish! Walla I was finished!
